The Divine Cupcake Joins Beer Week
Okay, we all know wine and cheese go together. Beer and cheese? Sure, why not? Cupcakes and beer? What? Yes.
Our amazing Kitchen Manager, Eli, and 16 Tons Taphouse and Café owner, Mike Coplin, were the masterminds behind Suds, Sweets, and Smarts. Five fabulous cake and beer pairings that will blow your mind. Created just for the 2nd annual Eugene Beer Week.

-Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA with Tao of Green(green tea)
-Elysian Peste Dark Chocolate Chili Ale with Swizzle Stick(spicy mexican chocolate)
-Rouge Hazelnut Brown Ale with Salted Caramel
-Widmer Imperial Russian Raspberry Stout with Death by Chocolate
-Boneyard Hop Venom with Carrot Cake topped with IPA Buttercream
The Salted Caramel – Rouge Hazelnut and Death by Chocolate – Widmer pairings were definitely the popular choices of the evening. However, in our opinion, the Jasmine IPA – Tao of Green “takes the cake”, so to speak. The floral flavor of the IPA combines with the sweet Matcha cake to create a truly zen experience.

Only $3 set you up with a mini cupcake and a beer. That meant trying all five pairings only set you back $15. Not bad for a night out on the town. The first 60 folks through the door walked a way with a free Widmer beer glass.
We want to thank everyone who came out. We would especially like to thank Mike and the 16 Tons crew for setting everything up.
So, next time you’re craving a cupcake, forget the milk and pour yourself a frosty cold brew.
Weddings and Cupcakes Make a Great Couple
Summer weddings are such fun for us! They stimulate our creativity and keep us busy, but not as busy as the brides and grooms who have to make all the decisions. Our wish for those of you getting married is that your choices will go smoothly and turn out exactly right. We promise to do our part to help make that happen. Just tell us what you need.
Wedding details and decisions can seem to go on forever. You already know to whom and why you’re getting married, which is the most important, but still you want the day to be as you envision it: when and where you get married, style of wedding, invitations, bridesmaids dresses, flowers, your wedding dress and the food. The list of details is long.
We appreciate all our customers and are glad to be in this business at this time since delicious and unique cupcakes are growing in popularity. We enjoy them as much as you do.
However, we are curious, at Divine Cupcake, about what you feel are the pros and cons of wedding cupcakes versus wedding traditional cake. Obviously, we know how we feel about it, but we want to hear from you about such things as: design flair and taste, planning and convenience, cutting or distributing to guests, set up, trends and cost. Divine Cupcakes at Faerieworlds Event
It’s all about wings! What do sunny days (fantastically warm without Eugene’s clouds and rain), rhythmic music and dance, delicious food, fun and friends bring to mind? Our Lemon Heaven and Warm Fuzzy cupcakes, or a cup of Yunnan Gold Tip tea…maybe!

Summertime is all about fun times, but we know life gets very busy! It’s hard to keep up with it all, so let us help you out. Treat yourself by letting us bake it and you take it—everyone will be glad you did. Beautifully decorated and delicious, our distinctive flavors of cupcakes stand out at showers, family gatherings, birthday parties. Our motto: If people are there, cupcakes should be shared. And just so you know, all we need is at least 24 hours to prepare most special orders. A variety of cupcakes are available for smaller last minute orders.
Divine Cupcake options are always abundant and ever changing. If you have suggestions, let us know. We want to remind you, especially with kids and family special diet needs, that we offer wheat/gluten/soy/sugar free, organic and vegan.
